PHP/MySQL programmers needed
A medium size US-based e-commerce company is looking for one or possibly two PHP programmers to develop and maintain a number of web-based applications.
The requirements to the candidate:
- At least two years of experience with PHP
- Good working knowledge of MySQL, SQL in general.
Working knowledge and implementation experience with one or more of the following is a plus
- PHPNuke / Postnuke, other portal and content management applications.
- OScommerce, Xcart, Yahoo Store (RTML), other shopping carts
- Perl
- Unix
- Search engine optimization.
The candidate should be able to work by himself/herself and as a part of the team. Reading English is a must, and it would be nice if the applicant could actually speak English.
We would like the candidate to implement a few simple test projects for us remotely that WE WILL PAY FOR, but we would prefer that the candidate would move later to Chicago, IL USA and join our team here - we are not huge fans of remote programming for the projects that we have. We will sponsor H1B visa.
If the candidate cannot or is not willing to move to the States, he or she should be exceptionally good for us to run our projects remotely, but it is an option.
We will not discuss any salaries at the public forum and before we review all the resumes. If you have some specific salary requirements, please state them in your resume.
